Dear KW-ORMTA Colleagues:
Registration is now open for the 2023 Branch Competition, to be held Saturday, April 15th at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Registration is due by March 18, and can be completed via google form. Payment is accepted by cheque or e-transfer, and is also due by March 18.
Attached please find a poster you can distribute to your students. This year's adjudicators are Marianna Chibotar-Rukevich, instrumental; and Jackalyn Short, vocal. Attached also are the provincial rules. Level 8-9 is also part of the provincial competition now, in addition to level 10-ARCT.
Please note: This is the off-year for the Young Artist category, so there is no provincial competition. However, if a student was interested in competing locally, we could still run the category and give them adjudication and scholarship. They would not pass on to the provincial level.
